Since 1.8.2001 Ossi has been a Principal Lecturer at Vaasa UAS, teaching topics such as Wind Energy, Research Methodology, as well as business economics topics such as Leadership/Management, and R&D within the Energy industry. Prior to that, he was a member of the board at Vaasa Energy Institute in 2006-2012, and a wind power consultant in 2012-2015 providing project management and due diligence services for energy companies. Ossi is also Leader of the RDI Platform Smart Industry 2021. He has published research in: Wind Energy, Smart grids, Energy innovations, Energy storage, hydrogen economy.
